Series finally completes! To the best “finally with tears”. “When the Prayer Curtain falls” is Keigo Higashino ‘s long – lined detective novel. A book was published by Kodansha on September 13, 2013.


1. 見てきた。原作未読で予備知識は映画館で流してた予告編のみ。良かった、一切退屈しなかったよ。
I’ve watched it. Never read the original and preliminary knowledge is only for the trailer shed in the movie theater. It was good and did not get bored at all.


2. 阿部寛のキャラが普通だったよ。新参者の時の、ちょっと変人なキャラ好きだったな。
The character of Hiroshi Abe was normal. When he played in the newcomer, I liked a weird funny character of him.


3. 阿部寛といえば、なんかの映画で古代ローマ人の役を演じていた。他のどの俳優よりも一番それらしくて笑った。
Speaking of Hiroshi Abe, he played the role of an ancient Roman in some movies. I laughed because he fits mostly for the role than any other actor.


4. 泣かせる映画だったな。JUJUの歌と映画のイメージが合ってたと思う。
It was a movie that makes cry. I think that the song of JUJU and the concept of the movie matches well.


5. 感動したけど、美談ではないよね？他人を殺して隠れ忍ぶ生活に疲れた、もう終わりにしたい、っていう悲劇を描いただけ。
I was impressed, but it was not a beautiful story? It just depicted a tragedy of a person who would like to end a life just getting tired of living sneakily for killing others.


6. 親子の間の愛については美談でしょ。あんな悲劇体験をした親子だから、その絆はより一層強い、そこは素直に感動すればいい。
About love between parent and child is a beautiful. Since parent and child who experienced such tragedy, so that bond is even stronger, there is good to be moved obediently.


7. 「砂の器」を見たことが無い人なら、絶対に感動するよ。言い換えると、「砂の器」を模倣した感じになってしまったのは事実。でもいい映画だったよ。
If you’ve never seen a “sand vessel” you will absolutely be impressed. In other words, it is a fact that it felt like imitating “sand vessel”. But it was a good movie.


8. お父さんは確かに気の毒だ。しかし殺された人や、その家族のこと考えたら、この親子の悲劇にばかりに焦点をあわせる気にはなれない。
The father is indeed feeling sorry. But once you think about the person who was killed or about that family, I do not feel like focusing only on this tragedy of parent and child.


9. 溝端淳平が良かった。幼い感じが消えて渋い大人の感じが出てきた。全盛期の岡田准一を思わせる雰囲気だったよ。
Junpei Mizoide was good. The youthful atmosphere disappeared and the feeling of bitter adult came out. It was an atmosphere that reminded me of Okada Junichi at its heyday.


10. 集中して見ないと、すべての要素が線で繋がらないので注意。というか説明不足なところがあったと思う。
Be careful for fail to connect all elements with lines if you do not concentrate to see. I guess there was a shortage of explanation.


11. 昔の大量の写真から事実を突き止めるという描写も使いまわされた手法だな。しかし写真から判明した事実が間接的なのが良かった。
It is also a method of used frequently about the depiction that traces facts from a large amount of old photographs. However, it was good that the facts found from the photograph were indirect.


12. 松嶋菜々子はどんな罪に問われるんだろうね。そっちが気になったわ。映画としては十分に及第点だと思う。
I wonder what kind of crime Matsushima Nanako will be charged with. I was worried about that. I think that it is enough as a movie.


13. 肩を震わせて泣いたね。こんなに泣いた映画は久しぶりだった。歪んだ愛の形かもしれないが、娘を思う父親の立場に共感できた。
I shuddered my shoulders and cried. The movie that made me so cry was after a long absence. Although it may be distorted form of love, I was able to sympathize with father’s thought of her daughter.


14. 私は泣けなかった。 親子愛はわかるけど自分の倫理観がそれを上回ったんだと思う。それがストッパーとして働いたのかも。
I could not cry. I understand parent-child love, but I think my ethics exceeded than the love. It may have worked as a stopper.


15. 人が常に合理的妥当な判断を下せてるなら、犯罪なんて一件も起こらないよ。 犯罪に至るには、非合理的で感情に絡め取られた、衝動的なプロセスがある。それを描くのが上手いのが東野圭吾だし。
If a person is always making rational and reasonable judgment, nothing will happen as a crime. To be a crime, there is an impulsive process that is irrational and emotionally involved. Keigo Higashino is good at drawing it.


16. とりあえず、時間泥棒と評される映画ではないことは確かだ。２時間を割く価値がこの映画には十分あるのは間違いないよ。
It is certain that it is not a movie that is regarded as a time thief. There is no doubt that this movie has enough value to spare two hours.
